Billy Baldwin has fired back at Sharon Stone on social media following her recent claims that producer Robert Evans pressured her to engage in sexual activity with Baldwin during the filming of “Sliver” in 1993.
In a heated tirade on X, Baldwin questioned Stone’s motives, stating, “Not sure why Sharon Stone keeps talking about me all these years later? Does she still have a crush on me, or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances?”
Baldwin, brother of actor Alec Baldwin, then hinted at possessing damaging information about Stone, stating, “I have so much dirt on her, it would make her head spin, but I’ve kept quiet. I wonder if I should write a book and tell the many, many disturbing, kinky, and unprofessional tales about Sharon? That might be fun.”
The dispute arose when Stone revealed to Louis Theroux on his podcast that Evans had suggested she sleep with Baldwin to enhance his performance in the film. Recounting the encounter with the late producer, Stone explained, “He called me to his office… And he’s running around his office in sunglasses, explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would get better.”
Baldwin’s performance in “Sliver” ultimately earned him a nomination for the Golden Raspberry Award for worst actor.
While Stone had previously mentioned the incident in her 2021 memoir, “The Beauty of Living Twice,” she had not disclosed names at the time.
Baldwin continued his online outburst, adding, “The story of the meeting I had with Bob Evans imploring him to allow me to choreograph the final sex scene in the photo below, so I wouldn’t have to kiss Sharon, is an absolute legend.”
He also brought Janice Dickinson into the fray, questioning whether Stone had made comments to her about making him fall for her.
