Young actor Peter Dager, known for his role in “Insidious: The Red Door,” has secured the co-lead position alongside Owen Wilson in Apple TV+’s upcoming 10-episode comedy series. The series is created, written, and executive produced by Jason Keller.

In this yet-to-be-titled comedy, Wilson portrays Pryce Cahill, a former professional golfer whose career took an unexpected turn two decades ago. After losing his job at a sporting goods store in Indiana and experiencing marital troubles, Pryce puts all his hopes on a troubled 17-year-old golf prodigy, played by Dager.

The production by Apple Studios will be helmed by directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, known for their work on “Fleishman Is In Trouble” and “Little Miss Sunshine.” The executive producers include Ben Silverman, Howard T. Owens, Rodney Ferrell from Propagate, Guymon Casady from Entertainment 360, Lee Eisenberg, Natalie Sandy from Piece of Work, Chris Moynihan, Jason Keller, Owen Wilson, and Bill Callahan.

Dager, a Cuban-American actor, was recently featured in “Insidious 5,” directed by Patrick Wilson, and played a significant role in the 2022 film “Who Invited Charlie?” directed by Xavier Manique. He is represented by Gersh, Namoff & Company, and Schreck Rose Dapello.
