50 Cent’s Denial in Response to Ex Daphne Joy’s Allegations

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has refuted claims of rape and physically harming his former girlfriend, Daphne Joy.

A spokesperson for the rapper stated to The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday, “The troubling accusations in the legal documents recently filed in connection with Daphne Joy, the mother of my twelve-year-old child, have compelled me to take all necessary legal steps to safeguard my son Sire. The latest unfounded accusations by Daphne Joy are evidently a reaction to my decision to pursue sole custody of my son. My son Sire is my top priority, and ensuring his safety is my sole focus at this time.”

Earlier on Thursday, Joy took to Instagram, alleging that 50 Cent had previously sexually assaulted and mistreated her. The couple dated in 2011 and later had their son, Sire, in 2012, but parted ways shortly after.

“Curtis James Jackson. Everything seems like a joke to you until our safety is at risk, which is happening now. You are causing genuine chaos and upheaval in people’s lives. How would you feel if Sire was the one in handcuffs? For no reason,” Joy expressed in a lengthy post. “We relocated to New York to allow you the chance to be a father to your son, and you saw him only 10 times during the two years we lived just a mile away from you. I’m tired of maintaining and shielding an image to our son that you’ve never even deserved.”

She added, “Let’s shine the spotlight on your actual despicable deeds of raping me and physically assaulting me. You no longer have power over me, and my God will deal with you from now on. You have shattered the last bit of hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these final baseless accusations against me. You’ve broken our hearts for the last time.”

The allegations against 50 Cent surfaced after reports emerged that the musician was seeking sole custody of their son following Joy’s involvement in Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ lawsuit against Sean “P-Diddy” Combs, accusing the media mogul of sex trafficking and mistreatment.

Joy was implicated in the lawsuit alongside Combs’ ex-girlfriend Yung Miami as someone who purportedly received financial compensation for engaging in sex work with the Bad Boy Records founder.

However, Joy has since refuted these allegations, stating on Instagram, “I am deeply wounded by the falsehoods in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit. The assertion that I am involved in sex work is entirely untrue and an attack on my character. I am consulting with a lawyer to explore all legal options against both Rodney and his attorney.”
