Britney Spears Is Never Returning To The Music Industry

Britney Spears has announced that she will “never return to the music industry” after speculation that she was thinking of returning to the studio surfaced last week.

The rock star was answering the claims in the US media that she was standing with songwriters for her 10th studio album.

She expressed it on Instagram by writing that, “just so we’re clear most of the news is trash!!!” and trying to make everything clear-cut.

“They keep saying I’m turning to random people to do a new album… I will never return to the music industry!!!”

Julia Michaels and Charlie XCX had been tapped up as co-workers, some media rumored.

But Spears said that she wrote songs for amusement purposes and also stated that over the last two years she had written more than 20 songs for other people.

“I’m a ghostwriter and I honestly enjoy it that way!!!” the singer said, who is known for her hits like “Baby One More Time,” “Oops!… I Did It Again,” and “Toxic.”

The Woman in Me

The Instagram post was along with Guido Reni’s Renaissance painting, whose title was “Salome Bearing the Head of St. John the Baptist”.

Spears’ every point of life was affected and controlled by her first new music that she released after being free from conservatorship in August 2022.

After a six-year pause, a duet with Sir Elton John, “Hold Me Closer,” marked Spears’ coming back to music.

Her fans have been clamoring for her to return to music, and although she has hinted before that she is wary of returning to the industry, this is the first time she has clearly announced that she will not!

Last year, she issued her memoir, whose title was “The Woman in Me,” in which life living under a conservatorship was explained in detail, and she disclosed that, while dating Justin Timberlake, she underwent a medical abortion.

She said that “pushing forward in my music career is not my focus at the moment. It’s time for me not to be someone who other people want; it’s time to actually find myself.”
